First off, let me apologize for the quality of the pictures, they are taken with my ancient cell phone. We dropped off Noah, and headed out to feed Kaitlynn's lamb, Bubba. And as soon as we turned past the barn, we see a chestnut horse. BUT since all the horses on the ranch are chestnuts, we had to take a closer look to see who had made their great escape....and the winner is......Star!
Kate grabbed a rope off the fence and started coxing Star to come to her.....yeah riiiigght. If you
have ever been around horses you might alreadyknow how many times that works! So after they did their 'dance', Star finally stopped up by the round ring. But, of course Kate dropped the rope by her corral, and so had to stand there hugging her, while I took
If you look very close you will see, that my child AGAIN, is without shoes..see this post. You might start thinking my children don't have shoes, but
her theory....I don't want to get my new shoes dirty. (again another Kaitlynnism)Then on our way home we saw
one of God blessed creatures... It was cleaning up the road...aka eating one of the kamikaze squirrels, that actually wait for you to come up the road, so they can frantically dash across the road.. hoping they make it to the other side before being crushed beneath the wheels. I think it is their only means of entertainment. Obviously, this won lost.
