Cerro Alto 4-H Rabbit Show

On Friday, we left Dori, DeAnn, and Noah at Disneyland at about 10:30, and after getting gas and some caffeine, we were headed for home by 11 pm. Kaitlynn was asleep 10 minutes later, Jessica about 10 minutes after that. So the long trip home was just me and my pal the radio.
We arrived home at 2 am Saturday, and swiftly unloaded the car, and reloaded it with our rabbits, and all the gear for the rabbit show.... then it was off to bed, for a very short sleep.

4 1/2 hours later, we were back on the road to Cal Poly, in San Luis Obispo for a youth only rabbit show. Needless to say, Kaitlynn was NOT in a good mood! And Jessica had huge dark circles under her eyes.... BUT the bunny Jessica picked out won its class. And Kate won Best of Breed with one of our junior bucks!
His name is Carlisle (named after one of the vamps in Twilight), and he actually belonged to Shianne, but since Kate has be feeding them, it is only fair that she get the credit.
Carlisle was even 1 of 5 rabbits mentioned for Best in Show, but he has a HUGE black molt line on his face, and so didn't get picked. The honors went to a Himalayan, and our friend Ashlee's Californian.
After the show was over, we drove home and everyone crashed! It was a VERY long weekend... but it sure was fun!
